• Product introduction

       Purpose：the coronavirus antigen (sars-cov-2) detection kit of Galen medical uses colloidal gold immunochromatography to qualitatively detect the antigen of sars-cov-2 in human nasal swab or pharyngeal swab saliva samples. The positive cases can be quickly detected when the viral load is high in the acute infection period, which can be used for early triage and rapid management of the suspected population. The experiment is easy to operate, suitable for large-scale detection, and can further improve the detection rate and accuracy of clinical samples.

      Principle：the coronavirus antigen (sars-cov-2) detection kit (colloidal gold method) is based on the principle of immunochromatographic sandwich method. It qualitatively detects the sars-cov-2 antigen extracted from the nasopharyngeal swab specimen. When the level of sars-cov-2 antigen in the specimen reaches or exceeds the target threshold, the detection line will be colored (pre embedded with the monoclonal antibody of sars-cov-2 N protein), indicating a positive result. On the contrary, the T-line will not be colored, indicating a negative result.
